Just to echo Michael's remarks
For #lca2015 we had
- papers committee accept list
- lca2015 team must have list (90%+ were on list above)
- Backup list (plan B)
- Backup Backup list (plan C)
- Paul McKenney - It was very hard to choose only one talk so he was a
late slot in for a drop out.
Keeping the whole schedule full is very hard and we lost a number of
speakers we really wanted very late due to personal or work reasons.
Several people on the backup list asked for 4-6 weeks notice so they could
produce content which can make life interesting.
