All
Since the Melbourne conference in 2008 there has pretty much been a running
Bof on the conference mornings.
Routes and runs on the days we get a fair number of people can be tailored
to fit.
We run back to meet people so everyone can enjoy the group atmosphere
running.
Last time in Hobart (2009) there as a bit of inclusion of the stairs up to
the accommodation and some running up to the trails above too.
This year we may try to do at least one flatter run in to town.
Anyway I put a BoF page up
https://linux.conf.au/wiki/conference/birds_of_a_feather_sessions/running/
Due to the PDNS breakfast on Monday it may be under attended or similar.
Also Tuesday Matthew and I will be heaidng out to do something rather long,
hilly and stupid [0] so will miss out that morning too.
Those who rock up can choose a route.
This being Hobart there will be some climbing (at least to get back to
breakfast if nothing else), as tey say about hobart, if you feet aren't wet
you are standing on a hill.
Fun will be had I am sure.

[0] 27km loop taking in the top of Mt Wellington, with a 2km warm up and
warm down to the start point from the normal BoF start point. I suspect we
will be kicking off a bit before 5am with head torches so as to be back in
time for Pia's keynote (yes we hope ot be able to do 3 hours for the run
itself)

when i look around, i think this, this is good enough, and i try to laugh
at whatever life brings, cuz when i look down, i just miss all the good stuff
when i look up, i just trip over things
